Well done on your first marathon Liz (Pilates for Runners) I also did the Bacchus half marathon with my fiancé!

I'm sure Liz (Pilates for Runners) can give you a more educated answer but as far as I'm aware you can't actually stretch your IT band it's a very tight fascia I struggle with side of knee/IT band pain at longer distances and mine is seemingly linked to super tight hamstrings so I do try to focus on strengthening and stretching my hammies! Probably quads also basically all the surrounding muscles

This is the first challenge in a while I'm not going to complete, not actually too mad about it though it's been a busy month and I've been getting more strength in outside of pilates. Also been listening to my body occasionally doing a different pilates session not in the challenge aimed more at what I'm feeling. Looking forward to trying August though, the short sessions are always good for pre-work for me so we'll see how we get on!

Liz (Pilates for Runners) you should deffo check it out - for general participation but you would also be great leading some little pilates sessions!

Actually finished the challenge a couple days early for a change! Pretty happy as I think I was about 3 behind at one point but managed to catch up 😊

Hey Liz (Pilates for Runners) how quickly do the lives go up after they've been recorded? I am thinking of trying to get up for the one tomorrow morning but it's a bit of an awkward time for me as it's too late if I'm in the office and too early really if I'm working from home (I do like the non commute lie in!) Not a moan by any means but just one of those haha I normally do a pilates session about 7.45am on a WFH day but not sure if the recording will be up that quickly?
