Thanks Rachel, I certainly did! A PfR pre run, a 6 mile run, then a PfR post run (#9 is my favourite 🙂)

Thanks Liz, very kind of you to remember. I definitely didn’t expect to still be running competitively at 70, although I’m slower now and a bit more creaky in the joints I intend to keep going for as long as I can. A friend sent me birthday greetings this morning and reminded me 70 is just a number. I think that’s very true, as long as we look after our bodies we can keep active into our 70s, 80s and possibly 90s. A lady at my running club is in her 80s and consistently wins medals at national and international championships, so there’s hope for us all. Incidentally she does Pilates too. So I think the message is look after your body - and keep doing Pilates! 🙂

Well done Liz on your post op PB!

I've just done this week's Whole Body stretch following parkrun this morning. Although I can't boast a new PB I did get my best time for a while at this course, edging closer to my target 70% age grading (68.98% today). Despite a slow congested start I managed consistent pacing, and like Tanya I made a point of running tall and relaxing - it obviously paid off. Thanks for making this possible Liz.🏃‍♀️

Just completed Foot Calf and Ankle from w/c 29/1 (trying to get a bit ahead as next month is a busy one for me). Must admit I found this one hard, both with balance and leg strength. I had to give up on the hopping bit at the end in case I fell over!😂

Sorry, pressed the wrong thing! I was going to say can these sessions be posted together at the Collections and Challenges section. I’m having difficulty working out where they are and which ones refer to which week. If they could be grouped together like you did with the Christmas ones for example that would make it a lot easier.

Started today, but had to modify some parts as I’m still having problems with my sacroiliac, in addition I’ve developed a rotator cuff problem on the same side. Not wanting to sound like a total crock but I’m battling a virus too. Great start to 2024😏. Having said (moaned) all that I think it’s important to try to do what we can, so although running is out at the moment and I’ll probably not be able to complete all the sessions I think I’ll still get some benefit from doing those I can. Good luck to everyone taking part 🙂
