Done, done, done! 🥳 It was nice to finish it off with a really nice rest day stretching sequence 😊. I am already looking forward to the next one! Thank you so much, Liz (Pilates for Runners) for putting them together 🙏

I just tried the new Glute & Hip session (#11) and really enjoyed it! My right knee is a bit more wobbly than my left, so clearly this is what I need (and, yes, I doubled up at least on the first few exercises - stopping the video and doing an extra round on my right). Thank you, Liz (Pilates for Runners) , for adding these two!

Liz (Pilates for Runners) Very true! Pad on my back and gratitude to life that it didn't throw too many curveballs!

Amazingly enough, I am still on schedule 🥳 There's a bit of a "how did that happen" sense there 🤣 I take it, though, because it means that I didn't have to deal with emergencies or illnesses!

Good one! And one I really need, so thank you!!! Looking forward to the others you still got in the works.

My long weekend started off with feet in straps since Pilates Cologne had a special Good Friday Reformer class. It felt very good, especially since my sore quad muscles were less sore today (I did the Single Leg session on Wednesday, then lifted weights, then did a Mat & Tower class - I guess my legs decided that was a bit too much 🤣).

Wishing those who celebrate it a happy Easter - and the rest of us a nice long weekend! And if you have to wage-work this weekend, a special thank you!

Really enjoyed the Single Leg Strength video - and once again realized how much especially my right leg needs it! I was a bit more wobbly than I would've liked. Oh, well... More practice!

Liz (Pilates for Runners) I think John Steele mentioned it in his book on Joe "Caged Lion." Or was it Eva Rincke in her biography? Either way, I found it fascinating and thus remembered the anecdote!

I can recommend both books to anyone interested in Joe Pilates, the person. He's a very fascinating character! John Steele was one of his students and helped keep the method going after Joe's death. Eva Rincke is a professional historian, so she tried to verify anecdotes as best as she could... Though there's still quite a bit that's probably more tall tales Joe later told than actual events...
