Week 1 done :-)

I hate to sound boring by always mentioning it, last time I promise! It can be really depressing not being able to manage hip stretches due to my restricted movement abilities caused by the hip arthritis. I just use the time to do simple hip flexor stretching but even those caiuse me pain :-(

Thank you so much for these weekly challenges you prepare, they are a great motivation to get in extra movement in my week

Unfortunately I leave the house at 6:30am (living in Germany so 5:30am UK time so live morning sessions for me are a bit too late 😂 I am enjoying the recordings though and so far are really helpful for my achilles recovery.

wow, kickstart hip and glute strength .... well that was a challenge, I don't have a large range of movement with due to my hip arthritis but I definitely will save this workout, feels great

catching up now after a few days off sick .... hopefully back on track with the autumn challenge in a little while. Run Stronger core 1 is an amazing workout, as a beginner I am finding even the simple moves hard work and look forward to one day smashing the harder moves 💪 💪

No apologies necessary!! 😀

Haha had to do some imagination guessing where my bra strap might be 😂 no, seriously this was a nice short workout today, great as I have struggled with time today. Are there other men here? Am I in a small minority group without a bra strap?

I cant either, I put it down to not moving or stretching for the first 49 years of my life :-)

Liz (Pilates for Runners) regarding Beginners Course - Week 1 Mobility, I have a question, for the child pose, I can have my bum on the heels but then can't get my head down, or I can have the head down but don't reach the heels, which is the better position to hold? Also if I have my weight on the heels I sometimes get a cramp in the base of my foot which is unpleasant, not sure what to do to stop that? Since as you know I have hip artritis, I cannot manage the last stretches, I can't cross my legs due to the restricted mobility.

Brilliant workout
